This hipbelt is only compatible with The Atom and The Nanu and attaches via the webbing loops towards to bottom of the back panel on your pack. Some older Atom's may not be compatible - if in doubt send us an email. 

Hipbelt pockets are compatible with all sizes except the small. 

The Atom is a frameless, hipbeltless ultralight pack. We have recently created this add-on, removable padded hipbelt to increase the comfort when you get close to the load limit (9kg).

If you always intend on hiking with a hipbelt you will likely be more comfortable using The Atom+ which has one integrated into the core design.

Superbly comfortable

Used with my Atom RE30. I have a small body frame and this makes heavier carries more comfortable. It’s firmly padded so it sits properly on the hips giving the right amount of support. It has a low profile which fits perfectly across the small of my back so I don’t have that odd sensation that a bulky lumbar pad can give. Made a big difference to me and now my Atom is superbly comfortable.

Padded hip belt

I got the padded hip belt to go with my Atom as I have a back problem. It fits well and is comfortable and works well for me. If I had a quibble it would be that it’s a bit bulky.
