Hey, I’m Grant. I’m a Scottish adventurer, living in Australia, who fell in love with long distance hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail. I’m obsessed with getting to places cars can’t reach, where the views feel earned and special. Oh and I love to see how far I can go on my own two feet. I document the real side of life on trail. The highs, the lows, and all the wee bits in between. I do this through my own style of honest and unpolished storytelling.

What's your favourite trail you've been on?
The Pacific Crest Trail. This was everything I had dreamt it would be. It has a kind of magic, that I experienced through social media for years before finding the courage to head out there and experience it for real. The culture, the landscapes, the people. It was life changing. It pushed me physically and mentally to my limits, and completely reshaped how I approach adventure and life.
What Atom Pack will you be using this year?
This year I’ll be using the Atom 35. I like to move fast and keep things simple, and the Atom fits my style perfectly... minimal, efficient, and ideal for those lighter, longer days on trail.

What's your best packing tip?
You probably don’t need that piece of kit. Yes.. you have too much in your pack. Strip things back, carry what you actually use, and your hiking experience will improve immediately. (Don't bury your TP).
What are your plans for 2026?
2026 will be focused on intentional adventures. Long distance hikes, fastpacking projects, and maybe a wee international trip squeezed in... All while continuing to grow my storytelling. I have some exciting content planned around it all.

What's one piece of advice you'd give anyone planning an adventure?
Don’t wait.. Don't wait until everything feels perfect. Start where you are and with what you have got. Learn as you go. Trust that you’ll figure things out along the way, you will. Oh, and quit your job!
