I would consider myself as a serious outdoor lover who dabbles in everything from thru hiking, mountain walking, bikepacking, canoeing, bushcraft and over-landing. I love to explore new places by human power but I also love to slow down in the woods around a fire. I also capture my journeys on Youtube and create content to inspire others.
What's been your favourite trail so far?
This is a tough one! I would say between the Cape Wrath Trail in Scotland and The Arizona Trail (both incredibly different but both insane) I had such life changing experiences on both.
Best packing or trail tip?
Take it day by day and enjoy the moment.. Also leave no trace and respect the landscape you're traversing through.
What's your go to Atom Pack?
I have gone with the notch, due to how versatile it is. I love the fact it's able to carry large loads for when doing big food carries and winter camps, as well as having the support and structure of the backplate, frame system and hip belt to provide comfortability, however The Notch is also is very minimal, lightweight and made for a great all round pack for the Arizona Trail.
What's on the cards for 2026?
An abundance of exciting stuff - hoping to get back to the USA, cool trips in the UK.
What is one piece of advice you would give anyone planning a thru hike?
Soak in the whole experience - eat the local food, sleep under the stars, connect with each hiker you meet and hear their "why?", feel all the highs and the lows and reflect on them, finally keep off the damn phone as much as you can!
